The goal of the Waterman Academy is to teach the qualities of a leader through challenging young men physically as well as placing them in very difficult scenarios over a 21-day period at sea. Academy session are limited to 60 participants, with enrollment is open to boys 13-19. Participants will get certified in many maritime skills, including life guarding, SCUBA diving and CPR. Graduates leave the Waterman Academy with a new sense of pride, self-confidence, accomplishment, respect, character and integrity.
